The Fuller Woman Expo 2010 was an awesome experience. To be in the midst of beautiful, confident, non catty, plus size women was a joy! I truley enjoyed Kim Coles and her message on G.I.F.T.S. The networking opportunities were good. I met Gwen DeVoe, Marylnn Wise-Hall, whom I now model for (www.thegrandedivaexperience.com), as well as seeing the fashions of La'Dan's Closet. I am Kadeane, the daughter of the mother-daughter team behind Kades Fashion. I think that this event, The FullerWoman Expo, was a marvelous idea. It is the golden pathway for vendors, store owners, models, and women of ALL sizes to start realizing that we can do it. A weekend, of feeling beautiful, can do alot for ones self-esteem. I met a young lady, beautiful to the core, but didnt even know it. I took her to meet the plus models (WHICH WERE SO STUNNING), and her face begun to light up. Its not everyday that us plus ladies are faced with images that we can relate to..........the expo allowed me to meet with other vendors/store owners who offered me their expertise on being a vendor/retailer such as CURVACIOUS STYLES, MISS Colleens Soap of Love, GutsyDame, I got to see some wonderful fashion designs from CANDID' APPLE COUTURE, MARTINI BLUES, gorgeous hand bags from UDAVA, and made incredible friendships that I couldn't have done on my own. PLUS TO MENTION TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF PUBLICITY, to the point where people would randomly come up to me and tell me how much they love the close I retail. I wouldn't change a thing! Next year we need to be filling that centre with tons more people. It was an honour to be apart of history!
